The King’s Trust Canada appoints Raj Kothari to the Board of Directors

TORONTO, April 2nd, 2025 – The King’s Trust Canada is pleased to announce the appointment of Raj Kothari to its Board of Directors. With over four decades of experience in global business leadership, finance, and community engagement, Raj brings a wealth of expertise to the organization. 

A former Vice Chair and Managing Partner for the Greater Toronto Area at PwC Canada, Raj has a distinguished career that spans Canada, the United Kingdom, and India. His deep knowledge of asset management, financial services, and corporate governance will be instrumental in advancing the mission of The King’s Trust Canada. 

Raj has held various influential roles, including National Asset and Wealth Management Leader at PwC and a founding board member of PwC’s Global Service Delivery Centre in India. He currently serves on the board of Investment Management Corporation of Ontario, Jarislowky Fraser and MD Growth Funds, both subsidiaries of Scotiabank; on the Independent Review Committee of Brompton Funds; and as Advisor to a Private Family Office. 

Active within the community, Raj has served as President of the Indo Canada Chamber of Commerce, Chaired the Stratford Shakespeare Festival Endowment Foundation and UHN Foundation and served on various boards, including ENACTUS, Duke of Edinburgh Awards–Ontario, Harvard Business School Club Toronto, Pearson College of the Pacific, Artscape, the Stratford Festival and Soulpepper Theatre, the Ontario Arts Foundation, and the Aga Khan Museum. 

He is currently on the Boards of the UHN Foundation and The Schroeder Ambulatory Centre.
