Youth Council

While young people make up 50% of the world’s population, they often feel left out, overlooked, and unprepared – and it’s even worse for young people who face barriers.

That’s why we set out to find 13 remarkable and diverse young Canadians to become members of our inaugural Youth Council!

Being a member of the Youth Council is an incredible opportunity to have your voice heard, gain valuable experience, and make a lasting impact. You’ll advise the executive leadership team, attend meetings, be a spokesperson, and represent the issues that matter most to young people. Plus, Youth Council members will also receive an honorarium for their participation!

Applications are now closed and the TKTC team has begun the important process of reviewing your applications!

Here’s what you can expect:

  • If your application is selected for the next stage, you’ll be invited for a virtual interview that will take place between November 1st and November 15th.
  • By November 29th, shortlisted candidates will be selected for a final interview with the CEO of The King’s Trust Canada.
  • On December 9th, we’ll notify 13 lucky candidates that they are joining our Youth Council!
